Hey Mavis DUO at Kenmore First Friday

Rialto Theatre, 1000 Kenmore BLVD, Kenmore

Bring your friends, family, and neighbors down to the Boulevard to celebrate the return of Kenmore First Friday. Musical performances will start at 6 p.m. and run every 15 minutes from 13th-16th St. Catch performances by Hey Mavis duo, Daveferatu & the Highland Squares, and Madison Cumming, plus many more. New this year in the courtyard next to Kenmore Komics & Games will be the Akron Open Mic with Ralph Obert and friends, and all are welcome to test their chops! Plus, food trucks, vendors, and fun activities will be available for the whole family to enjoy. Schedule and details to follow.

BOP STOP at The Music Settlement, 2920 Detroit Ave , Cleveland, OH 44113

Fundraiser for The Gathering Place, a local cancer support center with locations in Beachwood and Westlake (www.touchedbycancer.org). Cleveland based Love Muffin Records holds its 13th LoveMuffinPalooza concert this year. Tickets to attend in person are only $5. This event will also be livestreamed on The Music Settlement's Youtube channel at showtime. Hey Mavis at Iron & Ales

Age of Steam Roundhouse Museum, 213 Smokey Lane Rd SW, Sugarcreek

Sample local ales from Hoodletown (Dover, OH), Lockport (Bolivar, OH) and Five Barrel Bullet Brewing Co. (New Philadelphia, OH) while enjoying the music of Ohio folk artists Hey Mavis and being surrounded by the “Iron Horses” of the Roundhouse collection.

You won’t want to miss this unique Roundhouse experience! Site Interpreters and Staff will be on hand to discuss the Roundhouse, its history and collection. The restoration back shop will not be open for this event. All funds raised from this event go to support the mission of the Age of Steam Roundhouse Museum.

Hey Mavis at Ohio Arts Professionals Network 2021 Conference

The Ohio Arts Professionals Network (OAPN) will host an in-person 2021 Conference October 18-20 at Playhouse Square located in the historic Playhouse Square District in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. This year’s conference will host 24 juried showcases from performing artists of all genres. These performances will take place inside the stunning 1,000 seat Mimi Ohio Theatre. Conference attendees can expect to find numerous networking opportunities, exceptional juried showcases, industry meetups, one-on-ones, professional development, and a bustling exhibit hall.
